This table was a nice solid oak table with an 18″ leaf that was in need of refinishing. It did not come with any chairs so my plan was to refinish the table top and the leaf in a modern ash gray stain and paint the base in a clean white to make it as neutral as possible. To add interest I added trim on the plain straight pedestal before painting.
