Because of age and damage, what started out as a 50+ year old wobbly oak dinning table is now restyled into a unique coffee table. I repaired the crack in the top and permanently joined the two halves for a solid and functional surface. To keep the weathered look, I bleach the oak and finished with a flat top coat that is velvety to the touch. The base was painted in Annie Sloan Old White and heavily distressed.
