With chunky legs and plank details on the top I saw many possibilities for updating this coffee table. For a fresh clean look I painted the base of the coffee table in white with a grey glaze to bring out the details. On the top I dry brushed using the same white paint to help define individual planks and then stained with ash grey gel stain. For durability the table top received two coats of semi-gloss with a final coat of flat poly to give it a soft, matte finish.
