This little cabinet had a long and very useful life but had about come to the end of the road, so to speak. The top surface was heavily worn and water damaged, and two missing structural support pieces had left it so rickety it was unusable. I replaced the missing supports and added a new bottom shelf that solved the cabinets wobbliness. Cleaning and stripping the top revealed beautiful solid wood that was well worth refinishing. With a new coat of paint and a little distressing to show off its solid wood plank construction, this Accent Cabinet has a new useful life ahead.
